01. WHY IS RECYCLING NECESSARY?

It is for global environmental protection for present & future generation.It assists:-

- To increase the lifespan of dumpsites
- To clean up our environment
- To conserve natural resources (i.e. sand, limestone, soda ash, etc.)

02. WHAT ARE RECYCLABLE GLASSES?

Recyclable glass containers are broken glasses or used glass bottles in any colours which can be remanufactured into new glass bottles:-

- Soft drink glass bottles
- Beer or liquor glass bottles
- Chili, tomato or other glass bottles
- Jam or preserved food glass jar

03. WHAT ARE NON-RECYCLABLE ITEMS?

Items which cannot be recycled or remanufactured into new glass bottles are:-

- Porcelain or ceramic wares
- Lamp bulbs, fluorescent tubes
- Sheet glass (i.e. window glass, tv screen glass, mirror glass, etc.)

04. HOW CAN YOU HELP US TO RECYCLE THEM?

You will be provided a bin to keep the used glass bottles or broken glasses of the following colours:--

- Flint (clear)
- Amber (brown)
- Green
All caps and covers for the above glass bottles or glass jars should be removed before sending for recycling.
