Kuala Lumpur Glass Manufacturers Company (KLG) was incorporated in 1967 by ACI Glass Packaging with its scope registration being manufacture of glass containers. The company started operation in 1968 on a 4.25 acres facility located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
In mid 1990, KLG was acquired by Nylex until May 2000, Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd, acquired the entire issued share capital of KLG, with the headquarter for glass manufacturing division being Malaya Glass Products which is based in Johor Bahru.
KLG has one furnace with a total capacity of 220 tonnes/day in which 4 glass manufacturing machine lines operates with 300 skillful workforce. Our expertise lies in Blow & Blow and Press & Blow glass manufacturing process, focusing on flint color glass containers of all shapes and sizes.
KLG supplies wide varieties of consistently high quality glass containers for food products, sauces, soft drinks, wine, liquor as well as for pharmaceutical products. 80% of product capacity is for domestic consumption in Malaysia and Singapore while 20% is for export to Australia, USA, Phillipines and etc. To meet our corporate mission of " To be the leading glass packaging solution provider", we commit to consistently and deliver high quality glass containers in accordance to ISO 9001:2000, in which we were certified to since 1997.

Malaya Vietnam Glass Limited (MVGL) was established in 1993 as a Join Venture company between Malaya Glass Products and a Vietnamese partner, and commenced business operation on 1st March 1995. It specializes in manufacturing a wide range of high quality glass containers for beer, beverage, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
The glass manufacturing facilities available are blow and blow and press and blow processes for producing three colours glass bottle: Flint, Amber and Green.
For our Vietnam plant, the following is the technical spec:

Sichuan Malaya Glass Co Ltd (SMG) is a joint venture company between Tuopai Yeast Liquor Co Ltd, Sichuan, a renowned enterprise in China and Malaya Glass Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fraser & Neave Holding Bhd, which is one of the renowned foods and beverage company in Malaysia. The 80,000 tonnes / annum furnace of this joint venture glass manufacturing plant was successfully heat up on the 26 February 2003.
Equipped with the large scale, latest state-of-the-art and high standard glass production lines and facilities, SMG is posed to become one of the major glass container manufacturers in China.
SMG supplies high quality glass containers to local and export markets including South East Asia - Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and North America. Its customers range from small to multinational companies which required high quality glass container.

Thai Malaya Glass Co Limited (TMG) was established in 2006 as a Join Venture company between Malaya Glass Products and a Thailand partner (Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co Ltd). The glass manufacturing plant is scheduled for completion by October 2007. It specializes in manufacturing a wide range of high quality glass containers for beer, beverage, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
The production facilities available are blow and blow and press and blow processes for producing three colours bottle: Flint, Amber and Green.
